Childhood
Little toddlers,
We were the game spoilers.
Our Tiny Ponytails,
Listening to the fairy tales.
Ask mama to help you shower,
We were Curious innocent little flower.
From Learning on slates,
To eating in small plates.
From having a Pencil box,
To eating in the lunch box.
Playing in recess,
Days were free from the stress.
Watching cartoons,
Sleeping in afternoons.
Artistic drawing,
Stupidly crying.
Celebrating birthdays,
relaxed Sundays.
From reading poems,
To writing poems.
From doing homework,
To going for work.
We grew up so fast,
I wish our childhood had always last...
