Our story begins 11 years ago, when a young then 13 year old girl named Madeline Williamson or nicknamed "Maddie" for short who, along with her then 10 year old younger brother Ty and their parents traveled the world looking for rare plants. Now while everyone else in her family seemed to enjoy the whole plant research thing, Maddie found it boring and kinda stupid. Just because Maddie didn't like surching for plants didn't mean that she liked exploring, when she was a grown up she wanted to be like Dr. Conquest a famous explorer who had discovered prof that the lock ness monster was real along with many other discoveries. He even had had his own TV show and due to that he had a huge fan following of people (including Maddie) who just wanted to be like him when they were older, uncovering the truth to myths and making fame and fortune out of their discoveries. But during a trip to the mysterious Nonami islands in the Pacific Ocean, Maddie and her brother had made a very exciting discovery and 1 that would change their lives forever! Because that was when they had discovered the native home of the Furbys! Small furry beings, with no arms and legs with a beck and little feet (though despite having little feet they were still able to climb trees very well) as well as the magical ability to feel people's thoughts, who lived in groups called colonies on the Nonami islands.

Now Maddie did not know that this "so called" Dr. Conquest actually wasn't all that nice, nor did she know that Dr. Conquest had been surching for the Furbys for 20 years, and Maddie learned that after she sent a Email to him (never talk to people you don't know on the internet as your parents would warn you) telling him about her finding. Well actually it was E'Lo who had found out that Dr. Conquest was not what Maddie thought he was, when she discovered traps and cages hidden under a tarp and Dr. Conquest tried to cover up his secret by telling Maddie and Ty that "the jungle is very dangerous, us explorers need to take every procuration" and spent most of his time trying to not let the 2 kids get in the way of capturing "his" Furbys only for it to end in jail (and luckily no Furbys in hand, after being saved by the Williamson family) after Maddie's parents had contacted authorities. But that is a long time ago now, and A LOT has changed since then.....
