You run into the manor on Achilles's homestead, where the Assassins and including Achilles lived in. You were so happy. Your very first mission. You still couldn't believe it. Achilles trusted you enough to do this for him.

To some, being a spy wouldn't seem like a huge deal. But to you, being only a Novice, this was a huge deal to you.

You run into the large brick manor. The wooden roof of the manor had about four chimneys on top. The porch, door, and the wooden posts were white. The interior was of something you would expect in a rich persons' house. You never lived in a place like it.

Your parents were poor and when they were alive you all lived in a small two bedroom home. There wasn't much but it was home to you.

You run into your small but welcoming room. The walls were a beige color, you had a bookshelf at the far end and it was next to the window. There were about ten books on the bookshelf. Your bed was small; only met to fit one person. The blanket and sheets were (F/C) while the pillow was white.

Soon enough you would be leaving everything behind, for a short period of time of course. You didn't know how long you would be gone for. Hell, you didn't even know what would come out of this. You take a long look around your room and sigh. You wouldn't be seeing it for a while.

Then you hear a knock on the door frame. You turn around and you see Liam leaning on the door frame. He smiles at you.

"So, I heared from Achilles that you will be leaving soon," Liam says. He then steps into your room, "A mission he says," you smile, "Care to tell me what it is?"

"Achilles wants me to find out what the Templars are planning. He wants me to infiltrate their organization," you say happily. But then your smile fades slightly, "Achilles wants me to do this to prevent another one of our own from dying," Liam looks shocked. His blue eyes were wide.

"T-That's great, (F/N)," Liam says but you knew that a 'but' was coming.

"But," you say. Liam sighs and he pinches the bridge of his nose.

"I don't want you to get involved with the Templars," Liam tells you. You scoff and shake your head in disbelief, "Your not ready, not right now,"

"It's not your place to say, Liam!" You tell at him, "You don't believe that I can succeed don't you," Liam again pinches the bridge of his nose, "I will prove it to you. I can handle this," Liam then looks at you dead in the eye.

"Then do it, prove me wrong," Liam tells you, "But at least let me help you a bit," you nodded your head, "Okay, do you know the names of the men you will encountering?" you shook your head, "John Picarin and Charles Lee, both involved in the British army. William Johnson, a business man. Thomas Hickey, nothing more than a lustful drunk. Benjamin Church, also part of the British army. Haytham Kenway, the Grandmaster of a Colonial Rite. Last but not least is Shay Cormac, the traitor to the Assassin Order,"

So the traitor is called Shay Cormac? I wonder why he even betrayed the Brotherhood in the first place. Maybe that is something that I could ask him, if I ever met him that is. You think to yourself.

"How I know them by face?" you ask. Liam chuckles.

"Well that's where me helping you comes in," Liam tells you with a smug look on his face, "In a month from now there is going to be a ball. Me and you are going to it," you shake your head.

"How does that help me?!" you say with fustration.

"Let me finish," Liam says calmly, "All of the Templars that I just mentioned will be attending,"

"Even.....Shay?" you ask. You were so used to calling him 'the traitor'. You wanted to get used to saying his name before you met him. Wouldn't want 'Traitor' to slip out. Liam nods.

"Aye, and that is why I will be only at the ball long enough for me to show you who the Templars are," Liam tells you. You sigh, "Shay would be able to recognize me if he sees me with you. They would then know you are an Assassin as well," Liam explains. You nod understanding.
"I don't even have a dress to ware to a ball," You tell him. Liam smiles and puts a hand on your shoulder.

"Hope will take care of it," Liam tells you, "Oh, and by the way you are not leaving until the day of the ball," Great! I won't be starting it until next month. You think sarcastically, "Until then, learn what you can about each and everyone of the Templars," Liam then leaves your room giving you no time to protest.
