I was sitting in the rocking chair with my son, Logan, reading him a book. It was about 9:00pm and he needed to go to bed but he wouldn't. I guess it was all the sugar today. He had is Birthday party at a bouncy place earlier. He loved it, and we loved seeing him happy. Of course we wish our baby girl was here as well and the past year was very hard for the both of us but we know she's in a better place and we couldn't be happier with the way our life is right now. Camila's in bed because she didn't feel so well so I told her i'd take care of Logan because he was cranky.
"Wacky Wednesday was gone when i counted them all, and I even got rid of that shoe on the wall." I finished up the Dr. Seuss book and closed it while Logans tiny hands clapped together and he screamed "Yayyyyy"
I smiled and picked him up balancing his feet on my thighs and said.
"It's night-night time now baby"
He understood that real quick and started whining.
"NO MAMA! I NO SLEEPY"
He was hysterical at this point and that's how i knew he was exhausted. He always cried when he was tired. I stood up and cradled him in my arms while walking back and forth to soothe him. He clutched onto the back of my shirt while his head rested on my shoulder. He was now whimpering and it was becoming softer.
I eventually heard soft snores come from his mouth and I placed him down in his crib

After putting that one to sleep i sighed in relief. I started walking over to Camila and I's room and once I got there she's sitting up in bed with her back on the head board and i smile at her while walking over.
"Come here" Camila whispers while stretching her arms out.
She scoots over and down so her back is now laying flat and i pull her close to me while she snuggles on my chest.
"It was a battle but he finally fell asleep" I told Camila.
"we'll see how long that lasts without him wanting to sleep in here." Camila says while looking up at me and closing the distance.
We were kissing for a while until i started kissing down her jaw and neck. Camila was moaning quietly. I removed her shirt and quickly attached my lips to her breasts but she stopped me. She was breathing heavy but she finally spoke
"Babe , you need sleep. Tomorrow's a big day. We can't" she kissed my lips once more and snuggled into me.
I sighed and rubbed her bare back and kissed her forehead.
