Collapsing

I'm breaking,

Crumbling,

Cracking,

Burning.

I'm hard as rock

But then I'm fragile,

Delicate as glass,

And I shatter.

I'm falling,

Tumbling,

Slipping,

Tottering.

I'm steady,

Standing tall,

But then I trip,

Stumble and fall.

I'm sinking,

Fading,

Suffocating,

Drowning.

I'm floating,

As light as air,

But then it all goes down.

All I feel is despair.

I'm decaying,

dying,

And it's not long

Before I'm completely gone.
