Chapter 24

--- PRINCETON'S POV ---

I couldn't keep my eyes off her, but I could tell that she absolutely hated me. I don't blame her she had every right to hate me for what I had done to her. I looked at Roc then back at YN. Are they together?. She looked at me then at Roc, then she looked at her and Roc holding hands, she smirked then kissed Roc on the cheek. It might seem like nothing to you guys but I really REALLY like this girl. It hurt, I wanted to walk up to her but Prod stopped me,

"Hey, calm down..I'll talk to her, just try not to get distracted this battle is hugely important to our community" Prod whispered. But I haven't seen her in a long time! I just want to hold her and..kiss her..I miss her.... 

"Alright, now we all know why this battle is taking place and we should all know the consequence to when a certain team loses. So...LETS GET TO IT!!!" The crowd cheered. But I didn't care anymore. I just wanted to explain everything to YN. The host continued,

"There is only one rule, its that you can not kill anyone, do you here that Alex, this rule especially applies to you, we all know what you're like!"

"I cant promise you anything Justin" Alex replied with a chuckle. I saw YN looked so confused, she looked at Alex, I wish she would just know that he is 'the bad guy'. 

"Okaaaay. We will send both teams to there changing/ resting room and one by one will defeat the opposite team. If during a battle someone doesn't get up or quits the opposing team gets a point we will have at least...9 to 10 battle. It is okay for someone to tag another person IF the judges agree to it. I will call for the first battle in about 5 minutes but now teams could you go to your assigned rooms". Everyone started to walk away but I just couldn't move. No one was stopping, no powers or anything, I just couldn't stop looking at YN.

Funny how YN has this effect on me. Okay  I've only started really talking to her not too long ago but I've liked her since we were 6 but I just thought it was a pointless crush so I dropped it however, when we started high school, I knew that I REALLY liked her. Not because of how she looked..well she is very beautiful and her eyes..let me tell you she has the most prettiest eyes ever, but because of how she is. She's funny, caring, amazing...Alright you can call me a stalker because 'how would i know that she was caring', well its because when Makayla used to go out with one of my friends, D.J I used to always ask about YN. I also told Kayla never to tell YN just in case shed freak out and think im some sort of freak. 

I tried to smile at her but I knew that this was not the time for it. We must have looked like we were about it kill each because the host said,

"Alright guys save it for the field". I chuckled and looked down, I looked back up at YN, and Roc had hold of her hand while YN backed away from me. I gave out a nervous laugh and followed the rest of my team to our room. I saw Prod walking towards Alex's team room, I guess he's going to talk to her. I sat on one of the seats waiting for the first battle to begin. Then Steve sat next to me,

"You alright?" He said softly,

"Yeah I guess" 

"C'mon Prince I know you're not alright, I've none you since you were in diapers," We both chuckled at this, because it was true. Steve was a really good family friend. I didn't reply, to be honest I didn't really want to talk about it. We fell silent for a minute but Steve broke it,

"Was that the girl you were talking about earlier?" He asked, I sighed

"Yep"

"YN?"

"Yeah, how do you know her?"

"I know her family and who doesn't anyway, her whole family is extremely important to our world." I gave him a confused look, what is he talking about? Steve noticed my confused look and laughed! "Do you remember we did a class on the greats?" I nodded that was my favorite lesson. "Do you remember we did a whole lesson on Swift, the fastest vampire of all time?" I nodded my head again, "That's YN's mom"
