her feet touch the ground,
but her mind and soul don't.
her thoughts wander off to places,
places other won't.
as words are sent her way,
she stares at nothingness and doesn't listen.
though she doesn't mean to,
she sometimes can't even focus on those words written.
her clouded mind throws thunder into her being,
sometimes shaking her out of her thoughts,
but sometimes missing.
leaving her deep in thought,
those dangerous and hurtful
thoughts.
her feet touch the ground,
but her mind and soul don't.
her spirit is never around.
will it ever come back?
it probably won't.
