I watched as he made his oath,
I will accept you, my love
As my life partner,
Best friend and wife,
And share the rest of my days with you as long as we shall live.
I will give you my heart,
My soul,
And the best version of me that I can ever be.
I will care for you,
Through heartaches and happiness,
Through rainbows and rainstorms,
Till death do us part.
I watched in despair as
The man I love was lost to another.
