Zoe's pov

It's been two weeks and I'm still torn over my mother's death.

The thing that really gets to me is that the last thing I said to her is written on a sticky note. And it's not very nice, at all.

Lexi sits next to me on the couch, with a smile on her face and mail in her hand. She hands me an envelope from Parsons. My heart drops out of my butt and I start shaking.

"I'm scared," I tell her.

"Me too," she says, holding up her envelope.

Turns out that Lexi had been planning this trip to come see me for a long time. So she decided to apply at Parsons because she figured I would apply there, too.

"Together," she says.

Before we get the chance to open it, the boys rush out of their rooms and join us.

Calum places me on his lap, and Luke wraps his arms around Lexi.

We both open the envelopes and I pull out the envelope.

My smile fades when I read the letter. I didn't get accepted.

Lexi screams, letting me know that she got in. I felt like absolute shit. Everyone was looking at me to tell them what it says, but I get up and walk into the bathroom, locking myself in there.

I rip up the letter and flush it down the toilet. I didn't need anymore disappointments.

I hear Calum and Lexi whispering outside the bathroom door.

"I don't think she got in," Calum says.

"No shit, Sherlock," Lexi scoffs.

"What do I do?" He asks.

"You show her that you're there for her," she tells him.

Then, Calum knocks and softly asks, "Zoe, baby girl, can you please get out, so we can talk?"

Calling me baby girl caught me off track and, for some reason, it made me feel more comfortable. So, I wipe my tears, get up, and get out of the bathroom.

As soon as I get out, Calum grabs me into a big bear hug.

"Lo siento mucho," Lexi rubs my back.

(Translation: I'm so sorry)

"It's fine. I'm fine," I pull away from Calum.

"I'm not gonna go if you're not going," Lexi says.

"You're going. Don't worry about me," I give her a small smile.

Just because I can't do what I want, doesn't mean Lexi can't do what she wants.

"Let's go for a drive," Lexi grabs my hand and drags me away from Calum, and out the door.

Before closing the door, she runs in, gives Luke a kiss and comes back outside.

"So you guys are dating?" I ask her.

"We haven't made it official, but we were very intimate last night," She smirks.

"That was you?! I thought those sounds were coming from Ashton and Bryana," I chuckle.

She laughs and shakes her head. We get in the car and Lexi gets behind the wheel. She plugs her phone into the aux cord, and plays Juke Jam by Chance the Rapper.

"Listen," Lexi turns down the music, "You are so amazing and you don't need to get accepted into a stupid school to know that. I'm by you 100% and if you really don't want me going, I won't."

"Lexi, thank you for offering, but I want you to go. Do it for me and you," I smile.

She gives me a big smile, and turns the music back up.

After an hour of driving around and catching up, we get back home.

Calum immediately runs to me and hugs me. It was a nice, warm hug and I loved it.

Calum raises my chin, so I'm looking at him, "I love you."

I smile, "I love you, too."

Despite everyone sitting there, Calum presses his lips against mine. The kiss gets a bit heated, and before we could go any further, Ashton breaks it up.

Calum stomps his foot like a child, "Ashton!"

"Calum!" Ashton mocks.

Meanwhile, we turn around and Luke and Lexi were going deep, too.

They notice everyone staring, and stop.

"Great. Now I'm the only single one," Michael throws his hands in the air.

"Why don't you call Abigail?" Luke teases, referring to Michael's ex girlfriend.

I had heard many stories about Abigail and Calum had shown me her song about Michael.

Michael flipped Luke off and Luke just bursted into a fit of laughter.

Calum grabs my hand, drags me to the couch, and puts me on his lap.

He showers my neck with kisses and says, "I really do love you so much."
