I tried avoiding him. I knew he'd be in the cafe so I did my homework in the library.

I dodged my roommates questions, as she wondered why she didn't see me at work.

Eventually, I went back and Colton was there.

He laughed, "I was beginning to think you were avoiding me."

"I was." My eyes widened and I immediately regretted what I said. "Oh god. Not because I don't like you. I just, I do like you."

My face was red and all he did was smile.

"I like you too."
