Alyssa and Elizabeth continued their little rendezvous. And weeks ago Catherine, Henry and Marie already left to rule their countries.

Months have passed and Mary is near her labor day. Francis couldn’t be more excited to welcome a new little angel to their growing family.

Mary and Francis went to their meeting with the privy council of the english court. They discussed the matter of grains, trade then finally regency. “You all know that before we went here we were trying to stabilize our power in France, and we are still proceeding with that.” Mary told her council. “But we are not abandoning England and so we have almost another year to look and consider every possible regent there may be.” Francis added. “We can always have General Aigle.” Baron Russo said. “Yes. But the thing is General Aigle would very much like to be a general if he will be having a say on it.” Mary said. “Since I am not a minor and very much of age to rule, I will choose the regent but I want your voice on it. Give me candidates and I will see who is the most qualified.” Mary added and the council buzzed in awe that the queen is including their say into it, they were suprised since this never happened with the former Queen Mary Tudor. “You have two days to contemplate on your candidates. There can be more than two. As long as you think they are qualified.” Francis said. “So this meeting will resume after two days and I hope you think very deeply of it. You are dismissed. Except for you General Aigle, Sir Marcus and Sir Nicholas.” The rest of the privy left. “What is it my queen?” General Aigle asked. Mary and Francis shared a look and then Mary spoke. “I need you two to find a way for my cousin Elizabeth to be considered a candidate for regency.” “What? Mary are you sure about this? She has claim.” Aigle said. “I know. But she doesn’t want it. All she wants is to serve England and be respected by it without anyone forcing her for marriage. This is the way to compensate that goal.” Mary said. “Queen Mary. Can we trust her?” Sir Nicholas asked. “I have my spies said that we can and I have one of my ladies to prove that she can be.” Mary said. “Fine. Nicholas and I will look into it.” General Aigle said. Then they were dismissed and Mary and Francis looked for their children.

“Maman. What should we name my little sister?” Anne said smiling. Mary was about to speak when she was interrupted by James. “How can you be so sure that it is a girl? The baby might be a baby brother!” “Children stop fighting over it. Whatever the gender is we will still love this baby. Alright?” Mary said calming her children then Francis kissed her forehead and spoke. “Although if it’s a boy what do you think of Andrew and if it’s a girl what do you think of…” he was cut by Anne exclaiming, “Claire!!!! Please.” Francis kissed little Anne’s forehead and said. “Yes. Claire.”
