"What are we going to do?" Link asked
"I'm going to call the police." Rhett said
"I can only imagine the conversation." Link said sarcastically
"Come on, Link. Take this seriously." Rhett said as he pulled out his phone and began to dial 911
"I'm just giving you a hard time about you calling 911 so many times." Link laughed
Rhett rolled his eyes at the comment and continued to dial the number.
"Hello? I need the police! Our business has been broken into." He said
In the weeks following the incident, all Rhett and Link tried to focus on was getting ready for VidCon.
They knew that they would be asked a lot of questions about Link's pregnancy and also how long they had been together without telling anyone.
It was still a little difficult for both of them to tell everyone they knew about the pregnancy and their relationship.
But, they knew that it had to be said at some point.
After all, Link's pregnancy was becoming more obvious as weeks turned into months.
When the day finally came, Rhett looked at Link as he drove.
"What?" Link asked as he took his headphones off and put them on his growing belly
"This is it, Link. In a matter of hours, the mythical beasts will know our secret." Rhett said
Link looked at Rhett and smiled.
"Yeah. I'm kinda nervous." Link said
"Don't worry about it." Rhett said "They're going to love this news!"
Later when they arrived, Rhett helped Link out of the car.
"Gosh! It feels like I'm carrying a bowling ball!" Link complained
Rhett laughed.
"It's only been four months." He said
"Four months. I can't believe it!" Link said "One more month before we find out what we're having."
"Don't plan your gender reveal party just yet, Neal." Rhett said
"Oh! I have something special planned for a GMM episode for a month from now." Link said with a smile on his face
When they were ready for the panel, Link became nervous again.
Rhett took his hand under the table and said "It's alright. We can do this."
As the questions dragged on, Link could feel himself getting tired.
Soon, Rhett touched him on the knee and he jumped awake.
"Huh?!" Link asked, looking at Rhett
"He asked you about the pregnancy, man." Rhett said
Link knew that some word had gotten out on social media about his pregnancy but nothing more.
So, this was their time to tell everyone about what had been going on between them.
"Good Mythical Morning!" Rhett said as the audience cheered
"We're so excited to be here at VidCon this year!" Link added trying his best to sound excited
"We're going to start things off by playing a game." Rhett said then turned to Link "You ready Link?"
"I got the pinata!" Link said as he pulled a pinata from behind his chair
As Rhett explained the game, Link filled the pinata with beans
As the game went on, Rhett looked over at Link who was laughing in his seat.
Rhett just smiled at him as he then heard the pinata break.
"Oh!" Link and Rhett said in unison as the beans fell from the pinata
"Thanks for playing!" Rhett said as he gave the fan who played the game a t-shirt and he and Link signed his fan art
Later, during the Q & A session, there was a question about Link's pregnancy that came up.
Both of us thought this would be a good time to confirm things.
Link cleared his throat then said "The rumors you have read on social media are all true. In fact, I will go even further to say that Rhett and I are together."
Then, we heard whispers in the crowd.
"Well?" Rhett asked
"I don't know, Rhett." Link said nervously
Then, the crowd slowly began to murmur.
"We knew it!" We heard from one side of the hall
"No wonder they were acting like a married couple for these past few seasons." We heard from another
We looked at each other in shock.
"I don't know what to say." Rhett said
"Me neither." Link said
