To speak one's mind is to suffer in regret
To dwell in one's mind of memories of late
Upon nothing but guilt, felt in quantities of many
Wishes to return, to redo, to change
To act another way, to speak another word
To use not one's heart, but one's mind in words
Yet all there is to do is to view what's done
To reflect what has been said by the past
And to never again speak what feels true
Only that which is not supposed to be you
