Well today wasn't the greatest day, I sat on the bench in front of our school waiting for my mom.
"Hey sis!" I look up from my lap seeing my older brother and a girl I haven't seen before
"Um hi" I waved embarrassed to look over to the adorable girl Shawn brought with him,
"This is my friend Camila, Camila this is my sister Y/n" I slightly look up and she smiled tiling her head
"Hi Y/n" she waved I just waved back looking back to the ground
"She's adorable" I felt my cheeks heat up well that's a first, should I answer? Or stay quiet whatever they started their own conversation now.
5 minutes after a We hear a car horn and I quickly look up thinking it was our mom but it wasn't,
"that's my mami" Shawn's friend said gripping her bag,
"I'll see tomorrow Shawn, bye Y/n" she waved over to me and ran off,
"She's cute right" I just kept my head down nodding
"I like her" Shawn whispered I look over to him noticing the stupid smile.. "Why don't you ask her out then" I mumbled watching the car pull out the parking lot,
"Maybe I will" He mumbled sitting beside me.
2 weeks into middle school I haven't made one friend bullshit, I sat in the library alone reading a book I had no reason to go to the cafeteria because I didn't have any friends and I didn't want to sit alone,
While I was reading something hit my chair I looked down and see a bag I look over and see some tall beautiful girl pushing one of the most annoying guys from our school Austin Mahone,
"Yeah you better run Dorito boy" she yelled coming over to my side, "where the fuck is my bag" she mumbled to herself
"It's um over here" I mumbled raising my hand she looked over to me making me look down quickly,
"Oh awesome thanks, what's your name?" She asked she really wants to start a conversation with me?..
"Y-Y/n Mendes" she smiled "I'm Dinah Jane" she added "Well Y/n you look dorky" I looked down to my book frowning well added her to my list of people who don't like me,
"But in a good way" she added I look up at her and noticed her look at my seat I look down and noticed my boxer briefs were showing "hey you wear boxers I do too"
"That's a strange thing to say to a person you just met" I added blushing hard I pulled my shirt down looking away from her,
"let's be friends I bet we'll be great friends" This is a trick right?
Dinah talked to me the rest of the lunch period and I found out she started three days ago that's why I never met her before and we have half our classes together I was actually really happy to have a friend now,
"So are you related to that Shawn Mendes guy every sixth grader talks about?" She asked I nodded kinda embarrassed how these girls knows my brother but not me,
"Yeah he's my older brother" she nodded smirking, "I bet he's less shy then you are" I nodded again
"You're awkwardly adorable" I smiled seeing Dinah smile.
Finally time to go home, I got out my art class and started walking to leave school "hey Y/n!" I turn and see Dinah I stop and wait for her,
"Do you wanna walk together I just live a few blocks up from you" another bonus we live only 4 blocks away, "Sure I'll just text my brother" I pulled my phone out about to text Shawn when I got a text from Camila
From Cami- Hii! Shawn wanted me to tell you to wait for us up at the front!
Cami- Hi I'm actually going to walk home could you tell him
From Cami-what?!? Why wait for me
I smiled looking up at Dinah and she was on her phone also
Cami- I'm walking with a friend today I'm sorry
From Cami- no fair I'm your friend too why don't you wait for me,
I just ignored her text when Dinah asked me a question and we got lost in conversation.
~~three months~~
"Ahhh I fucking hate you" Dinah groan trying to throw me the pillow while we both laid on the floor,
"This is your fault for making the stupid idea to hit each other to see if our assumptions were right" I groan trying to sit up, "Well couldn't you just say 'yeah Dinah I got a dick too'" she said in a deep old man voice,
"I don't talk like that!" I yelled we sat up and looked over to each other and after busted out laughing,
"I'm so glad I found a friend like you" Dinah hugged me I hugged her back smiling even more,
"Next time we have a question about each we'll just ask alright" I added she smiled nodding,
"For sure because that hurt!" I chuckled nodding I tacked her down
"Hey Y/n!" I pull away from Dinah and turned my head seeing Shawn and Camila...what is she doing here?
"Yeah?" I asked feeling Dinah poking my sides I cracked a smile pinning her arms on the floor
"Mom is taking Camila and I to the movies wanna join us?"
"Wanna go to the movies?" I asked Dinah still having her hands pinned against the floor
"omg me really this will so bust up my popularity for hangout with the hottest 7 grader" she faked to fan girl making me cringe, "Yes or no dude!" I said to her while she just nodded,
"Yeah Dinah is joining us" I said pulling her along with me,
"Great" Camila mumbled I smiled over to Camila and she just ignored me...
We got to the movies and I was with Dinah talking about Grand theft auto V that will be coming out soon,
"I'm so excited i can't wait to have my hands on it" Dinah said excitedly
"I know I been saving up just for that game, Hey why don't we go and get it together?" I added excitedly "that would be awesome!"
"Great because Shawn doesn't want to join me" she rolled her eyes wrapping a arm around my shoulders,
"I got you covered buddy" I smiled and we hear Shawn calling us over to get our tickets,
"This movie is going to be great!" We both say walking ahead of Shawn and Camila,
~Few weeks later~
Camila's pov,
"Y/n been hanging out with Dinah nonstop i haven't seen her in a while" I groan crossing my arms "who's Y/n again?" Lauren asked doing her homework
"Shawn's little sister" Lauren giggled looking up at me "you have a crush on your friends little sister"
"I don't have a crush on her and she isn't that little she's only a year apart from us" I added
"Well why are you pissed that she won't hang out with you " I just ignored her question going on my phone
"Exactly crush" Lauren smirked "I don't have a crush on her!" I stood up annoyed I don't have a crush on Y/n...I just enjoy her company..
