You quickly sped down the dirt path toward the docks.

Why? Because that's where Jason usually practiced controlling the winds. Not like he needs to practice, in your mind, he was already perfect. You nearly face-plant on the wooden platform, your shoelace had somehow untied itself and got tangled underneath a loose floor board. You groan, fumbling with the board, trying toast it free.

Physical activities weren't really your strong suit and being a child of Aphrodite didn't really help your case. You absolutely despised being stereotyped as a dolled up air-head who loves to gossip and exchange beauty tips.

Some wonder how you are even related to the goddess of love. Aside from your flawless (s/c) skin, your perfect (h/c) hair and your ever cheerful (e/c) eyes, you had nothing in common.

Well.. At least they thought so. Little did they know, you were a devious matchmaker.

You were on of the main people to push Annabeth and Percy together. Hades! You invented Percabeth!

You made Gruniper happen!

You helped Tyson confess to Ella.

You even tried to fix Jason up with Piper, even if it was heartbreaking to do, but Jason ended up admitting he liked someone else and they parted on good terms.

Ever since then, you've been trying to squeeze her name- OR his, you don't judge, out of him. But every time you pry, his face flushes red and he changes the subject.

"(Y/n!" Jason's voice brings you out of your thoughts and back into the present. Your mind takes a moment to register that his arms are wrapped around you waist and how close your faces are. What the Hades...

You let out a little yelp and remove yourself from his grasp. "S-sorry."

Jason shoots you an award-winning smile that makes your heart skip a beat. "It's okay, (y/n). But care to tell me why you nearly sprinted into the lake?"

Your eyes widen and you make a mental note to not think and run. You shake off your temporary surprise and open your mouth to reply, but you're interrupted by a guy at the other end of the dock.

"(Y/n) c'mon! I'll show you a good time!" The burly camper grinned and wiggled his dark eyebrows as he moved closer.

"Punch him." You make a disgusted face at the cat-caller.

"What?"

"Punch. Him." He got closer.

"Wha-  no! I'm not goin-"

"Do it." He was almost within hearing range of your harsh whispers.

"No!"

"Please? I'll do anything."

"Anything?"

"Yes, anything." You grumbled.

"Sup Sparky."The bran greeted. "(Y/n) com-" Jason socketed him in the jaw, sending him flying into the lake. Jason quickly rewrapped his arms around your waist and took off towards the Zeus cabin.

Once you landed on the cabin roof, Jason looked down at you, still holding you in his arms. "So.. why'd I have to punch that guy?"

"Oh. Um.." You paused, looking everywhere except his electric blue eyes. "He really wanted to go out with me... and I kept refusing. So he got this great idea, that if he caught me, I'd go out with him."

Jason turned stiff, his eyes becoming stormy. "I should've punched him twice." He growled.

You looked at him, dumbfounded. "Whoa, Superman. Calm down." He looked back down at you and relaxed."I only asked you to punch him ONCE."

Jason was silent for a moment before he grinned down at you. "And you owe me for that."

"Schist." You groaned. "What do ya want? Do your laundry? Pull pranks on kelp head?"

Jason laughed. "No, but that last one's a good idea."

You frowned in confusion. What else could he want? "What do you want then?"

He smiled down at you. "A date."

"Oh." Your heart stopped, ready for the answer that'd probably shatter it. "With whom?"Jason chuckled and leaned in so close that you were centimeters away from each other.

"You."
