Some things doesn't change

Jake p.o.v

"Good night guys" Eli wished and walked upstairs.

Rick looked at me and mumbled "Take care"

"peter... I think you should take rest too... You must be really tired..." Ian suggested.

"Umm... I will but after checking out the security. I will head to bed.What about you Jake?" Peter asked me.

"I will accompany you and then i will hit the bed"i told him.Eric is looking at me with no expression on his face.

"Alright you guys don't take too long.You guys need to rest"Eric ordered using Little bit of his Alpha voice.

"Yes sir" I walked out of dining room with peter.

"You Okay..." Peter asked me  after we are out of the building.

"Yeah... Why wouldn't i?" i asked him.

"You seem pretty tired."he said while we both checking around the guest house.

"Everything seems to be under control" i told him changing the subject. He sighed but nodded yes.We both walked inside.

We parted our ways after saying goodnight. I walked upstairs and reached second floor.I looked at the closed door opposite to my room. I can hear shower running. With a sigh i opened my bedroom door and entered in.I closed the door but didn't locked it,in case of any emergency.I didn't bother to switch on any lights because as a werewolf i can see through dark.The heater is already On.It's Canada.So,obviously we need heater here.I have already took a shower before dinner so i dragged myself into bed after undressing myself and slowly drifted into sleep.

In the middle of night i heard  someone opening my door.I stayed still in case it's a burglar but a normal burglar can't
get through this high security around building.I calmed down when i got a sniff of the intruder's scent.

"What are you doing here?"i asked the intruder without opening my eyes.He stopped moving towards me and stayed still for few seconds but gave me my answer.

"Heater in my room isn't working. And all other rooms are occupied"He stated.

"Alright... Get in" i said with a sigh.

"Thank you and Good night"he said getting under sheets.

"Good Night Eric"i wished him back. I turned around to see if he's awake. I can see his eyes are open.

"Do you need anything?" i asked him.

"No" he sighed looking at the sealing.

"What is it?" i asked him again.

"I'm exhausted... Recently I'm not getting any nice sleep." He said honestly.

"Work stress?" even though he's jerk i could not help but being concerned about him.

"No,Everything is good at work." He finally looked at me.He looks really tired.

"Then what is it?" i asked him again...

"None of your business" he turned his back to me.

I sighed.... Some things doesn't change.

I woke up to the ring of alarm clock.I turned to look at Eric who's sleeping peacefully while hugging a tail.Wait... What?

I took a look at him and indeed he was hugging a wolf tail and not any ordinary tail but mine.I looked at myself.

"What were you thinking?"i scolded my wolf.

"Nothing.I just wanted to feel his touch.I know you would not try anything without his permission.So,i turned in middle of the night.So,i can sleep with my mate." he looked really sad. Of course he miss his mate. Eric moved in his sleep.So,I shifted back and walked to  closet for clothes.I took shower and walked into the room fully dressed and noticed He's still sleeping.I immediately threw shredded pieces of my shirt and pj's  into closet.

"Coming?"Rick asked me through mindlink.

"yeah...." i replied.With taking one more look at Eric i walked out of bedroom and to living where Eli,Rick,Ian and Peter are waiting with Steve.

"Ready?" Steve asked me.

"yeah... Lets go..." Ian and Rick got into mid SUV. Peter and I got into the SUV which is in back and Steve and Eli got into the SUV which is in front. We are being followed by three SUVs.

After twenty minutes we arrived at a restaurant which is not that fancy and it is in middle of the town.But it looks pretty decent.We all got out of SUVs. All of our men are going to wait out in their cars. Rick  and Ian are going to sit with Alpha king and his beta. Iam going to sit with peter and Eli.We left Eric at guest house because he has no idea about werewolves.We walked in.This place is not packed much.There are only couple of tables that are seemed to occupy.And other tables are empty.We were greeted by manager when we walked inside.

"Good morning Mr.Patt"He greeted. I can tell he's werewolf by his scent.

"Hello Mr.Noah , Two tables" Manager lead us to a corner table near window.

"Alpha Rick and Alpha Ian... This is your table. His highness will be here in couple of minutes.We will be waiting at another table."After Rick and Ian settled in their seats. Steve lead us to another table which is in the middle. Eli came and sat next to me hurriedly.I raised my eyebrow at her.She is looking anywhere but me.I looked at peter who is trying not to laugh and Steve looked really mad at something which confused me more.I was about open mouth but i looked at the entrance when i felt a powerful aura. i immediately got up and others did the same thing.Alpha king and his beta entered restaurant.His Highness is 6'9 and well built body with tan skin.His eyes are forest green. His beta is 6'7 and he's height of Rick  with baby blue eyes.I looked at Ian and Rick, Rick kind of pulled Ian behind him.I know his alpha wolf feels that he needs to protect his mate when he feels a wolf which is powerful than him. Steve immediately walked towards His Highness and led them to Rick's table. I walked to their table with others to wish His Highness.

"Good Morning Mr.weylyn" I bowed.

"Good morning Jake.How are you?" His voice is really powerful.Eli whimpered  behind me.I know she's meeting Alpha king for the first time.So,Her wolf is not used to so much power.What surprised me more is Steve immediately pulled her into his arms and whispering to calm down.

"Looks like our friend found his mate."Mr.Weylyn smirked.

"Oh please... Don't be jealous" he smirked back. Eli stepped away from Steve 

"As if we are..." he has annoyed look.

"Alright... this is Mr.Arnault and You already know Mr.Crescent,This is Ms.White Secretary of Mr.Arnault and this is peter second in command to chief security officer of Knight enterprises" Steve Introduced to Mr.Weylyn..

Rick and Ian sat with Alpha king and his beta for breakfast.
