What is evil; what is good?
Torn between right and wrong,
avoid sin like an angel should?
Or yield to the devil's song?
Having long since abandoned hope -
good intentions fall with every tear,
so much so that I cannot cope
as I become the very thing that I fear
Lies and deceit have served me well.
Infernal fire couldn't crack my composure.
Though I will always regret the day that I fell;
sin in haste, repent in leisure.
Although Heaven's song tries to guide me,
I am forever bound to this hellish place.
God may forgive, yet I cannot forgive me
for I will always live with this disgrace.
