"So your telling me that you use powerups like snow flowers, fire flowers, koopa shells and other things?" Maria asked the red and green bros. "Yup and there are many more."
Maria nodded. "Did father tell you that we use 7 out of the 47 know gems called chaos emeralds?" The two bros stopped in there tracks. "There's more than seven?"
Maria looked back up at the two. "So father didn't tell you huh?" Luigi shook his head. "No we never heard." Maria chuckled softly earning several confused looks from Mario and Luigi.
"Well only 7 were unlocked before I was born. There unlimited power drove countless evil souls to harm inocent people to get them. But legend has it that I chosen hedgehog could unlock all 47 chaos emeralds."
Mario and Luigi looked at each other then back at Maria, who was radiating with unknown power. "And the only one who can unlock all 47 is me." She looked back up to see the two brothers staring at her. "Well come on, we don't want to be late."
