In Love With The Prince (Quick Short Story)

Chapter 4: Teary Eyes

When I found out that Henry left for the enchanted forest I was devastated, I finally had the courage to ask him out, but now he was gone

But in the next few hours, news spread that they were back

I immediately went to go check up on him, they didn't remember what happened in the enchanted forest but Emma is now the dark one

It was devastating for all of us, especially on Henry, for he still saw good in his mother

Then not even hours later, men on horses and in armor come into storybrook claiming there are from Camelot

Everything seems to settle down and I decide that it is a good enough time to ask Henry out

(PRESENT)

"Hello Henry" I say as I walk up next to him

"Hey Evelyn, what do you need?" He gives me a small smile and my hands begin to sweat

Oh god I can't do this!

"I was uh wondering if uh....If...you'd..like to get ice cream..with me..?" I laugh nervously

"Uh yeah sure, that's be great! I could use something to get my mind off things"

I feel my heart lift "oh cool! Want to get some now? I'll buy"

Henry laughs and nods, we then head to Granny's Diner

We entered Granny's Diner and ordered ice cream, after we finished our ice cream we began to talk

It felt so good to talk to Henry again, like no time had passed between up

But the moment was ruined when a female in a light pink dress with dark hair came up to our table

She began talking to Henry like they were long time friends, she then went to the jukebox to put on a song

Henry told me her name was Violet, and that they met in Camelot in the enchanted forest, and that she was a princess

It made me feel slightly uncomfortable because it seemed that Henry liked this beautiful Princess

And it didn't take long for Henry to excuse himself and head over to her, I watched for a while and saw that he laughed together

Violet reaching for his hand, cupping it in hers, I watched Henry's reaction, hoping he'll pull away from her, but he didn't he looked at her with something in his eyes

And she returned the same something in her eyes

I felt my throat tighten, my chest clench and stomach drop

I even swore I heard my heart shatter into a million pieces

I swiftly got out from my spot in the booth and made my way quickly and hopefully quietly out of Granny's Diner

Making my, heartbroken, way to the stables, where all the horses stayed and sensed my distress

I screamed and cried till no noise could come out from my throat, my world was Henry, and now he was taken from me

And I knew Henry was my soulmate, I knew

After they defeated Pan, and before Tinkerbell left, I had asked both Tinkerbell and Blue who was my soulmate

And it was Henry, I was in love with him anyway, so it seemed that I knew all along

But now he's with some princess he met in Camelot

He wants to be with a beautiful rich princess he hasn't even known that long, instead of with me, the girl who's always been there for him and the girl who always loved him

I cried harder as I came to a realization, screamed for even the thought of thinking it

But it seemed like the only explanation

Sure David and Mary Margret have it, Regina & Robin Hood, along with Emma and Hook

But then again not everyone could have it, it certainly cant be myself, if my soulmate is with someone else besides me

I look up to the Orange and pink sky
Henry doesn't love me

True love doesn't exist.....
