A moon had passed since Jaywing's injuries, and she was finally out of the medicine den. She padded across the camp, and hurried to her den. She spotted her daughter, Thistlestar, with Hoppaw and Skypaw. They were practicing some moves with Wolfscar and Shadepelt. Jaywing took her spot, and laid down. Since the death of her son, Snowfang, Jaywing had mourn for his death. She barely moved around, and when she did, it was between the medicine, her den, the fresh-kill pile or the dirtplace.
Jaywing turned to see Wolfscar walking in with Brookfur. They leaned against one another, which hurt Jaywing's feelings. She always thought Wolfscar loved her. But, she knew Hawkstar still loved her. She knew he'd never stop, since they had kits together.
The white she-cat rose to her feet, and padded out of camp, and headed to the entrance of the forest. She loved the woods, since she didn't have to worry about being to cold, but she missed Hawkstar.
She turned back, before shaking her head. "No, Thistlestar doesn't need me anymore. She's got ThistleClan under control." Jaywing nodded, and turned back to the moorland. She saw some HawkClan warriors padded over to her, heading to the border. So she padded over, in hopes of meeting up with HawkClan.
She spotted Berryfur in lead, with Blazepaw and Tunnelpaw. Acornfeather was behind them. Jaywing gave a soft purr, but then Berryfur stopped them. He padded over alone, and flicked his ear.
"Hawkstar told us you may return, and so he wanted us to tell you that you can never return." Berryfur meowed, and Jaywing bared her teeth. "Jaywing, I'm sorry. But I can't help it." He meowed, and Jaywing turned away.
"Tell Hawkstar that Snowfang died. He'll know who Snowfang is." Jaywing headed back into the woods, heading back to camp.
When she returned, Thistlestar walked over to her. Jaywing told her that she went for a walk, and that she needed to clear her head. Thistlestar nodded, and Jaywing went to her den. She curled up, curling her tail around her nose. Jaywing felt horrible, hearing that made her regret ever falling in loe with Hawkstar. And Wolfscar.
The white she-cat closed her eyes, hoping that her life would change. That she'd go back to where she belongs, in the nursery, curled around small kits, but that wouldn't happen. She knew StarClan had given her what she had to do, and that was bring ThistleClan to life. And she knew she had completed that.
"Where's Jaywing? And Snowpaw?" Hawkstar's voice came, as thundering of pawsteps entered the camp. Thistlestar quickly intercepted him, and led him to Jaywing's den. Jaywing lifted her head, and looked at Hawkstar. "Where's Snowpaw?" He asked, and she sighed.
"He sacrificed himself. He covered his pelt with deathberries, and let the fox bite him. There was no hope for him, if he got bit." Jaywing mewed, her tail flicked softly. "Leave Hawkstar. You said I'm not allowed to return to HawkClan." She laid her head back down, and he sighed.
"It's for the best, Jaywing. For the sake of our kits." Hawkstar meowed, and Jaywing looked at him. She nodded, and laid her head back down, before yawning. She felt him lick her ear, before he turned away. The white she-cat closed her eyes and let herself fall asleep.

=( ^v^ )=Moons had passed, and Jaywing sat beside her brother, Shadepelt, as she began to wheeze. They were at Snowfang's grave. Jaywing had gotten sick, and grew weak. She was barely even strong enough to walk around the camp, without going into a coughing fit.
"Does Thistlestar know you're not going to make it?" Shadepelt asked, and Jaywing shook her head. "Do you want me to stay here with you?" Shadepelt asked, and Jaywing looked at her brother. She curled up, and Shadepelt copied. They laid togther, under the stars. "I remember a time when we did this, as apprentices." Shadepelt meowed, before nuzzling his sister.
She was still wheezing but not badly. She looked at her brother, before purring rasply. "Shadepelt, will you watch over my kits for me? And make sure they're okay?" Jaywing asked, and Shadepelt nodded happily. He licked his sister's ear, before purring.
"I'll treat them as if they were my own kits." He meowed, and Jaywing nodded. She gave a heavy cough, before shaking lightly. "Stop holding on. Close your eyes, and let it all go. I'm here with you, return to Deadfoot." He meowed, and Jaywing laid her head down, closing her eyes. Her breathing began to slow. And soon, she fell limp. Shadepelt didn't move, but Jaywing did. She stepped out of her body, and glanced at her brother. She pressed her nose to his ear.
"Thank you, Shadepelt." She whispered, before turning. She spotted Deadfoot, purring softly. Snowfang bounded over. "I guess not every cat was destined to live for long." She meowed, before bounding over to them. Jaywing's heart swell as she saw her mate and son once again.
Coming to a stop, she glanced over to see Shadepelt rising as Thistlestar, Hoppaw and Skypaw bounding over. Yowls came from them, and Jaywing turned back to her mate and kit, before following them to StarClan.
