Getting Closer With Dricki

Drake and Nicki Minaj were getting ready for their L.A. Show. They've been waiting to come back to L.A. the whole tour.

In Nicki's dressing room:

There were a lot of press & paparazzi outside of her dressing room to see what extravagant outfit she was gonna wear on stage. Nicki was doing her normal routine, tweet her fans, pick out an outfit, etc... As Nicki was getting ready there was a knock on her door

Nicki: Safaree can you get that please

As Safaree answers the door he shakes hands & gives a brotherly hug to whosever at the door

Drake: almost ready nic?

Nicki: yea, just real nervous. Ya know the last time we preformed here together was when we were on the tour with Wayne!

Drake: I know. It's been a minute. But Nicki how many times have you done this!? You gone be good, just remember your the queen of this shit

She's lookin at him through her vanity & gives him a light smile

Nicki: thanks drake

Drake: alright I gotta get outta here. My fans are waiting. Good luck Ms. Minaj

He gives her a face expression that she knew everything will be alright.

Before leaving the stage:

Drake: I just wanna thank my whole team, Young Money Cash Money, OVO. I wanna thank my fans for always being there, I wanna thank the one person who came in my life & changed everything, the beautiful Ms. Nicki Minaj! I love you

They exit the stage hand & hand

Backstage:

Nicki: OMG Drake you are amazing

She reaches up to embrace her label mate, but more than that a friend, someone she could trust.

Nicki: sooo what's up for tonight, considering we just finished our last show?

She had a huge smile on her face. But in her mind she was hoping he didn't have any plans

Drake: well Rihanna wanted to work on this song before she went to Barbados next week

Since Rihanna was both of their friends Nicki had nothing bad to say about her all she did was nod her head in understanding and said "i understand, just make sure it's a hit😉" she winks her eye knowing that her & Drake song "Make Me Proud" was at #1 on the billboards 100 for 4 weeks

Drake gives her a hug & a kiss on her forehead. Nicki was hoping that he would just celebrate with her instead, but when she realized he was getting in the backseat of his range rover, she knew not this time.
