Chapter Twelve

Elise's POV

I woke up at around 10 am, I quickly got up and ate brunch then took a bath and got ready

"Eager to leave huh?" Kylie said as she laid on the sofa and watched TV

"Yeah, I don't want James to come here and delay me" I said as I went to the door "bye!"

"Bye! Say "hi" to Charlie for me!"

The bus was quick to arrive so I was able to ride immediately, I sat and listened to my iPod as I thought about Charlie

Charlie's POV

I woke up at around 8 am and quickly got ready. Spencer and I prepared everything yesterday, we bought a few stuff and asked a few favors Elise and I are pretty well-known in our city since our parents are really friendly so it was easy for them to grant my favor. The only thing we needed to do is set everything

We only have this morning to set everything since Elise will arrive later this afternoon, so after having a quick breakfast and a sweet good luck hug from my mom, I left the house and went to my first destination. Elise's house

I had talked to Aunt Cath and I asked her if I could put a little something on Elise's bedroom, of course she said yes and that I'm so adorable and sweet. So Aunt Cath let me in and I went straight to Elise's room to set up the first surprise. Once inside, I set up the surprise with a small note on her bed and said thanks and bye to Aunt Cath and off I went to the second destination to set up the second surprise and after a few more destinations, I was finally finished

I finished at around 1 pm, just enough time to freshen up. After getting ready, I texted Elise and asked where she was now, she replied and said she was very near, just half an hour away. I quickly left the house.

Elise's POV

I arrived at around 2 pm, I think, so I arrive and was a bit disappointed that I didn't saw Charlie waiting for me, so I thought, maybe she's doing homework or something at her house, so after giving my mom a hug and a kiss, I went next door to Charlie's house

"Aunt Gwen!" I called "as I enter the house"

Aunt Gwen then went out of the living room "Elise! How are you?" she said and gave me a hug

"I'm great" I answered "oh is Charlie here?"

"No, she just left, I think she's off with Spencer"

"Oh..okay then, I'll come back a little later" I smiled "nice seeing you again Aunt Gwen"

Aunt Gwen nodded and smiled then I left her house and went back home

I entered my house and made my way to my bedroom, I can't believe Charlie's off with Spencer when she knows I'm on my way home

I entered my room and saw, on my bed, a medium-sized sunflower plush doll from plants vs. zombie which is my favorite computer game, I took a closer look at it and found a note stuck on its side

I took the note and read it, it said: ""You make me smile like the sun, Fall outta bed..."

Got a lot more surprises for yah! Just follow this note and I'll see you there!  - <3 Charlie"

I quickly smiled as I read her name, I wonder what's up?, I turned the note and at the back it read: Next Destination: Riverside Park, see you there! also you might want to bring a bag pack =D
