I'm going to be honest, I neither hate nor love this ship. I get why a LOT of people REALLY hate this ship, it feels underdeveloped and in mcd this is definitely true. However when you look at many of her side series, this ship is very well developed and honestly isn't a problem.
In my street they don't start off in love, it takes what appears to be the course of many months before its clear they are in love. Not only that but in the high school episodes we also learn they had a history, they developed a HUGE relationship online. Online relationships are JUST as valid as real life ones and they probably kept in touch via the games they played.
I'm just going to say that Aarmau in MCD was poorly planned, but that doesn't mean it isn't a horrible ship. The characters themselves had a bond and a connection that could be seen and she felt like she knew him. The progress towards the ship just wasn't planned out enough to make it seem good. In Mystreet she does a way better job at progressing Aarmau which can make me like it more.
In the end i'm very neutral towards Aarmau tbh i don't think i'll ever reaally hate a ship but Uh Author out now.
