This is my country
It's young and can be forgotten
But its people are strong and do not give up
It has gone off to war
And experienced war within itself
It has been torn apart and put back together
It has made mistakes that make it ashamed
But it is working to right the wrong
It has welcomed in those with nowhere else to go
But has also turned some away
It now has people
From many cultures
And countries
This is my country
It is not perfect
Although we believe it is great
It's my home and the land of it's people
They work hard to keep it alive
