I put my cup aside as i went to go address the knock on the door.
Dad.
"Dad" i muttered
"Hey honey let me in please its cold out here" he said as he glanced around him
"Yeah yeah come in" i opened the door wide.
"Where's ya mom eh?" He said walking into the kitchen
i layed back down on the sofa
"MOM DAD'S HERE" i shouted so she could hear me
"ONE MINUTE HONEY" she said walking down the stairs
She walked into the kitchen and gave dad a quick peck but as she was walking away she abruptly stopped and turned back round
"You've been fucking drinking i smell it" she said with pain in her voice
"No no im hungry" he said reaching for the cabinets
"I'm fucking tired of this, get out of my house." mom mumbled
"No" he replied dumbfounded
"Mom can we not do thi-"
"Shut up Ava for fucking once"
she said rubbing her forehead
"Well oh yeah fuck you" i screamed and i was quick not to hesitate as i picked up my phone from the coffee table and headed out
"Ava" she called and i responded with the sound of the door shutting
It was was cold and it was almost 11 on a school night which sucks ass
I was so pissed that i forgot to bring a jacket but that wasnt a big deal at that moment.
I sat down on a bench i found opposite the road.
And i was about to check the time only to realise my phone was dead
"fucking great" i whispered and i placed it in the pouch of my hoodie.
I let my head fall into my hands as i almost drifted into sleep
"Hey" my head shot up to a boy sitting next me
"How long have you been there" i asked shocked
"Long enough" he replied with a small smirk
"Oh so your one of those creepy ones" i retorted
He looked at me dead serious for like five seconds and then he bursted out laughing singalling his head with a no by nodding it side to side
I just smiled and took in his features
His brown glossy eyes. His sharp jawline. His rosy plump lips.
"Why are you here it's like fucking 12" i say looking at the road
"Oh i was training for football and i just got out now and i was walking down then i just saw this beauty sitting on the bench and i couldn't hold myself back."
"Or you could just say the club was great"
He raised his eyebrows
"Im fucking with you" i smiled
"Ethan" he reached his hand out
"Ava" i replied as i let my cold hand come in contact with his warmth
"Dude your frozen"
"Yeah i get that a lot"
He was taking of his jacket
"Oh no don't do-"
He just laughed and threw it over my shoulders
"How cliche of you" i smiled
"What are you doing out here so late huh" he said standing up
"Uhm i was on a walk i guess" i said looking down
"You suck at lying" he said as he turned his back towards me smiling
Ive never seen someone so happy to hear ive been lying to them.
"I'll see you around gumdrop" he shouted as he walked away
i watched him walk away and fade into the distance.
I then got up and sighed as i took his jacket off and took a look at the logo
Eastwood high.
What a fucking coincidence.
well i guess i could return his jacket to him tommorrow at school.
