Chapter 4: Going to the Doctor

Lizzy~

Its been 2 days since I found out I have a living child inside me

In about a week the tour starts up again

Today me and Vi were both going to go see the doctor to get check ups on the babies

She is obviously much bigger then I, shes 7 months along as I am only about 1

We walked into the hospital with our Fiancés right behind us talking about baby stuff

Who knows

"Violet Tomlinson and Lizzy Horan?" Vi spoke up

"Yes, yes, right this way.." The nurse said helping us to the office

"You said you two would be sharing a room, correct?" The nurse asked

Vi nodded

The nurse led us to this huge white room with, what I'm guessing is, the ultra sound machine thing

I smiled and sat on one of the beds as did Vi

"You excited?" She asked me

I nodded

The boys sat in the corner still talking

"You going to find out the gender when its time?" Vi asked me

"I don't know. Maybe. I want it to be a surprise, but then again, I want to know." I said

"I think Niall should know and you should have it be a mystery.. Like me and Lou, Lou knows, but I have no clue.." She said and I nodded

"Your right, that would be cute to have Niall do what Lou is doing, getting the nursery set up and all your flat..." I smiled

"Violet and Lizzy?" A man in a white coat asked

"Hi Dr. Burns!" Vi said

"Violet! How are you!" He said

"I'm amazing! The vitamins did the trick!" Vi smiled

"Good for you! And who is this? You must be Lizzy?" He asked and shook my hand

"Yup, that's me!" I smiled

"Well I'm your doctor, Dr. Burns" He introduced himself

'Hi!" I smiled again

"Alright girls, whos first?" He asked putting on gloves

(a/n OKAY YES! It sounded dirty! I'm sorry! It wasn't supposed to be, but I'm too lazy to change it.. So shhh!)

I am!" Vi said

Lou and Niall got up and walked over to us

"Alright you know what to do.." He said

Vi lifted her shirt so the doc could put the gel on her stomach as Lou grabbed her hand and help it

Dr. Burns took the wand and put it on her stomach and looked at the monitor

"Healthy as ever Vi!" Dr. Burns said

Lou beamed at the monitor like I hope Niall will

"Great!" Vi said taking a paper towel and getting the gel off

"Alright Lizzy, just do what Violet did and I'll put the gel on your stomach, it may be cold.."He warned me

I did what he said to do and Niall grabbed my hand like Lou did to Vi, and he rubbed circles on the back of it

Dr. Burns put the gel on and yup it was cold

He moved the wand around a little bit until a faint picture of a small baby was on the screen

"Ready for this? Shhh. Listen closely.." he said

*Buh boom buh boom buh boom buh boom*

Tears welled up in my eyes

"That's its heart beat, you can't really tell what the sex of it is at the time being, I say you are about 4-8 weeks along, and I say the baby is due around August 11th." He said

"Hey! That's your birthday!" Niall said

"And the day you proposed to me.." I smiled to myself

"Would you like a picture?" He asked

I nodded yes

"Alright, I will be right back.." He said and got up

I took towel and got the gel off my stomach

"Sooo, how does it feel?" Vi asked

"Feel what?" I asked

"How does it feel to know you are going to be parents!?" She asked

I smiled "Amazing and scary.."

"Thats exactly what Vi said when the doctor asked her when she first came here! No wonder you two are best friends.."

Lou said I smiled

"Here you are!" Dr. Burns came in and handed me and Niall the picture of our baby

I smiled and held the picture close to my chest
