Seasons

25 7 8

When Winter arrives,
No sun is shining,
No families dining.

No grass is green,
No leaves are seen.

But once it goes,
And spring invites,

The world becomes full of lights,
And wonderful sights.

The grass is green,
Only leaves are seen,

No more ponds frozen,
People buying fruits to the dozen.

But then he departs,
And summer jumps in.

We run at the beach,

For we have no teachers to preach.

But he too leaves,
leaving a present, a present of autumn.

Alas the leaves fall as their time is done,

Once again.... Winter has come.
