The Two R's: Random Ramblings

Lies..

Lies.Lies..Lies...

Lies taint everything. We have sunk down so fast...so far that lying is second nature to us...

White lies...lies we tell to protect people. Lies we tell to make ourselves feel good.

Even worse, are those lies we tell to hurt people knowingly and unknowingly...

Telling the truth won't hurt us...we don't shrivel up to half our usual self if we tell the truth.

But in ways, Lies are our saviors.

We tend to believe lies more readily than we believe the truth...even though we all know it's a farce.

We tend to believe fantasies and shun reality.

But try as hard as we do, we still know, the mind knows, and our souls know.

Sure, our hearts rejoice but the mind is conscious of the lies it's being fed.

In the end the lies hurt us... The lies come back to stab us.

We are forcefully yanked out of our fantasies by the cold unforgiving grip of our cruel realities.

You wanna know why?

Because lies are cunny back-stabbing b*tches that end up screwing us over...

And the truth is we all know what the truth is.
