"is this y/n l/n?" the lady on the phone asked. "yes, who's this?" you asked, wondering what the person on the line wanted. "this is central city's hospital, and i'm afraid to say your father didn't make it. i'm so sorry honey." you hung up on the lady-- who was probably the doc or the receptionist knowing it was a rude thing to do but you were stunned. hearing what you just heard felt like you got rolled over by a boulder. "y/n! wanna grab some-- oh my god, are you okay?" cisco rushed over to you, with you now sitting on the floor of your lab crying. he put his arm around you and pulled you into a tight hug; something you very much needed at the time.
