I climbed up the stairs of the stage with fear in my heart and my whole body was shaking.I practiced hard to move forward. Within a few seconds the mic was in front of me .I was scared to approach but then I came close .With my eyes closed I took a deep breath ,and then I started with an bollywood song sung by shreya ghoshal,"Sun raha hai na tu".The whole hall turned silent and I became nervous .Then I happened to see a senior encouraging me to smile. The ends of my lips turned into a curve and I finished the song with a smile. I closed my eyes tightly only to open when I heard a huge round of applause. My chest swelled with pride. And i skipped down the stairs.
Later that night I took home the trophy for the winner of the talent show.
The judges told me I had a bright future ahead if I majored in Music.
And that's what I did.
