Confessing and Heartbreaks

Jacobs POV
I pulled Maya close to me and kissed her on the lips. She kissed back and I smiled mentally. I heard a gasp and Maya pulled away. We turned to see Maddie looking like her dog just got ran over by truck. She came over to us and said, "Why were you kissing this little ugly brat Jacob." and being the stupid me I pushed Maya off of me and said,"She was kissing me!". I immediately regret that because I think I just blew my chance with Maya. Good thing Johnny isn't here so I can fix this. "You did kiss her you had your arms around her and she was just standing there." Says Maddie. Oh crap. Well now I can fix this. "Ok fine! I like Maya like a lot. And she is beautiful and kind and what did she ever do to you. Nothing. But you made me date you when you're ugly brat." I said that and did not regret it. Maddie looked like she was about to cry. Ariel, Loren, and Luna looked speechless. Everyone in the hall was looking at us in silence. Maya broke the silence by saying "I-I like y-you t-too Jacob". I smiled from ear to ear and picked her up and we went to class. In class it was the first day so we had a free day. Me and Maya sit next to each other so we were talking and then I put her on my lap facing me. She smiled and kissed me. She pulled away and then I smiled. I guess the teacher saw us and told us to go to the office. We got in trouble even though Luna was making out with what looked like Johnny.  We got in the office I assumed we would get a lecture about being safe or whatever but actually Maya's brothers are in the hospital from a car crash. Maya broke out into tears the secretary told us that she is living with my family and we're going home early.
Maya's POV
So now I guess I'm Jacobs girlfriend. I was sitting on his lap when the teacher called us to the office. I hope we're not in trouble. We got to the office and sat in the little chairs. The secretary looked up at me and said in a depressed voice "Um... Miss.Rowland. Uh sweetie your brothers are in the um hospital.". All I could do is cry and Jacob comes and comforts me. She said I had to stay with the Sartorius' for a while and me and Jacob were being picked up early. I nodded and we left to get our stuff. My eyes were red and when we walked into the classroom Jacob put his arm around me. Everyone looked at me concerned. The teacher wasn't there. Then Maddie said "Oh look it's the little make-out couple coming back from being yelled at. And now she's crying because they can't be together." I was angry. I looked at her and yelled "WELL MAYBE IF YOUR BROTHERS ARE IN THE HOSPITAL YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND BRAT!!!!!" She looked at me surprised as Johnny came over same as Luna. "Are you ok?" They said in sink. I nodded grabbed my stuff and waved goodbye. Me and Jacob got into his moms car and left when we got home we:
-ate pizza
-watched Netflix
-watched frozen
-went to bed
In no particular order. Today was the best/worst day of my life!
