We saw the beautiful castle named Hogwarts, sides covered in ivy, and I wondered, how can I have so lucky to go to school here?

I glanced back and saw the Marauders, all smiling smugly, and ran for it as I got tackled by a certain tall, lanky, bespectacled boy.

"Hello, love, I saw you running and I decided to play that stupid American sport... What is it called? Football? Yeah, football. I decided to play football."

I got up and collected my books that had been scattered. "What was that about, Prongsie?" Sirius said to James as he reached his hand out to help me up, "The lady doesn't want to be tackled by you, deer..." James, Remus, Peter, and Sirius broke out in laughter that sounded like a bunch of dying hyenas.

I pushed Sirius's hand away, "What are you idiots laughing about? Also, if Sirius hits on me one more time I'm going to kick him in the-" "I get why you're angry," Remus interrupted as he walked up to me, "They make make me angry, quite often, actually."

James stumbled towards us, "I meant to ask you, do you think that I," Sirius gave him a look of approval, "and Padfoot here, are handsome? I mean, be honest."

I grabbed Remus's shirt collar and made him walk fast until we made it to the common rooms, "Why didn't you just go by yourself?" Remus said panting.

"Because the sorting is in an hour and you want you to go with me, and I had to make sure I could tell you before-" "Before WHAT?" Sirius screamed. I ran up to the dormitory and got dressed.

On the way to the sorting I grabbed Remus and the other Marauders followed. James said, "Ooo, I see a snog session going to happen in the future, and I'm not even good at Divination."

Sirius smirked, "Mate, she never answered your question. So, do you think we're handsome?" He gestured to James. "You gits?" I laughed, "James Potter? Sirius Black? Handsome? HA! Remus, are you hearing this? HA!" As I looked at him, I swear James's head deflated a little bit.

"Look, I'm going to miss the sorting. I'm going, you are all welcome to come. Good bye." As I left, they were all following until they suddenly disappeared.

Then Dumbledore walked up to the podium, "Hello! We will start the sorting of the first years in five, four, three, two, now!"

McGonagall walked up to a stool with the old, beaten sorting hat sitting on it. "First, Mr. Roc Aberate. Come on up." "SLYTHERIN!!!" Everyone at the Slytherin table gave out a loud cheer.

"Mrs. Jewel Lavel. Step up to the stool please." The hat was placed on my sister's head. There was a long pause.
"HUFFLEPUFF!" Every Hufflepuff stood up and gave a loud applause.

Jewel didn't go sit at the Hufflepuff table though, she instead ran to me in a frantic cry. "Why Hufflepuff? Out of all the houses, I had to be in stinkin' Hufflepuff!" I shrugged, "You can give the hat suggestions, you know."

Jewel glared like her eyes could shoot lasers, "It's a little late for that now, isn't it!?" I let out a sigh, "Go to Hufflepuff table. You're embarrassing yourself. Go make some friends. I'm sure they'll like you. If not, you can hang out with me."

Sirius and James then said in unison, "And us!" Jewel nearly fainted at the sight of the two boys, "Th-these guys are your friends?"

She then went to a whisper, "Your friends are hot..." I put on a look of disgust, "Oh, Jewel! Not my sister! Not Jewel! Anyone but Jewel!" Sirius raised his eyebrows, "Your sister has good taste. I have to give her that."

James then laughed, "Don't go hitting on the eleven year old. Come on Padfoot, you're better than that." "I was not hitting on her! I was complementing her taste in men! She said you were hot too!"

I sighed, "Oh boy," Jewel then looked honestly shocked, "But they are! How have you not fallen for them?"

"Go to the Hufflepuff table before I puke." I demanded before fake puking. "Your sister, is hilarious." Remus said as he laughed so hard he could barely speak.

Jewel is my third favorite character. Behind Aubree and James, of course.
