Ich will nicht von mir behaupten, dass ich eine gute Zeichnerin bin, im Gegenteil: ich lerne noch.

Das ist eines der zeitaufwendigsten Bilder, die ich bis jetzt gemalt habe. Insgesamt saß ich fast vierzehn Stunden an diesem Bild, da Falten eine Menge Arbeit machen. Aber nunja, man wächst mit seinen Aufgaben.
Die Vorzeichnung habe ich wie meistens mit einem Raster und einem relativ harten Druckbleistift gezeichnet, dann das Raster wegradiert und danach das Gesicht ausgearbeitet. Am schwersten waren hier ehrlich gesagt die Stellen, die kaum Falten hatten wie Nase oder Wangen und besonders die Stirn. Papierwischer und Bleistifte von HB bis 8B haben mir sehr viel Hilfe geleistet, dieser Oma Gestalt zu geben, danach hatte ich übrigens Nackenschmerzen vom Herumsitzen. Aber das war es mir wert.
Ich mag das Bild, weil ich finde, dass Falten etwas Wunderbares sind. Sie erzählen von einem langen Leben und vielen Abenteuern und haben vermutlich mehr Geschichten selbst erlebt, als ich gelesen habe.

So far this is one of the drawings I've spent the most time with. It took about 14 hours, because crinkles are hard to draw. Anyways, I'm growing with my work.
As several times before, I started with a pattern, drew the sketch with a drop action pencil and then I started drawing with pencils from HB to 8B. I've had the most problems with those parts of the face which haven't got any crinkles, for example the nose or the cheeks.
After drawing this picture my neck hurt because of staring at my work, but it's definetly worth it.
I like the picture, because crinkles are something great. They can tell us something about a long life, adventures and probably went through more stories than I've read yet.
