Chapter 14

I was having such a hard time with the not being able to see my little sibling, and Lucas: I Could tell that Maya was stressed out, so I called Riley, so she could help me plan a date for her, I picked up my phone, and it dialed in Riley's number, then as few seconds later Riley picked up on the other line, Riley: What's up Lucas, I told Riley all about what happened with Katey's mom, and I didn't heard everything for a while

Riley are you there, I don't hear anything, so I was guessing that she hang up, I put my phone down, then I heard a knock on the door, I went downstairs to see who it was, but Maya all ready got to the door first, I went to the door and stood next to her, I grabbed her hand and we swung our arms back and forth, it was Riley who was at the door, and she immediately run up to Maya yo give her a hug, so I let go her hand, Riley: Maya are you okay, Lucas told me everything I'm sorry, I know that must have been a lot to handle, how about you come to my house and we come talk all about it

I told I would come over, Lucas looked kinda of sad, but happy at the same time, when we arrived at her house, I was shocked to see Shawn was talking to Cory and Topanga, as soon I saw him I started to cry, and Cory, Topanga, and Shawn turned around to see me crying, Riley slowly started to walk me over to them, but I was scared to face Shawn, and I think Riley could tell that I was scared, Riley: Shawn come I see you for a second, and me, Riley and Shawn walked up to her, Riley: Shawn, you did something to hurt my best friend, so now I want you two to talk about it

I was was very fond of Shawn, and he knew it, but when Riley said that, he just froze and he looked really scared, and I also got really scared when Riley, left the room, and she locked the door behind her, Maya: Shawn how could you, tell me that my mom was death, when she was alive, she come to my house to talk to me, I was crying as I spoke, Shawn: Maya I'm so sorry that I lied to you, it's just that I was hurt, and i don't understand why your mom just left, and I started to fall in love with her

I thought that maybe we would get married and that you would be my daughter, but your mom started to shut me out, and she said that I couldn't see you, and that made me really sad, Maya I didn't want to lose you, so when your mom was at work, I tried to spend time with you, because Maya you remind me, of myself, and I really hurt me when you didn't have a dad or mom, just like me, it was like looking at a younger me, Maya: Wow, Shawn I knew that you cared about me, but i never knew you cared that much, I hugged him, I'm sorry I yelled at you, it's just lately I have been really sad

And on top of all that, my mom said that she had a new family, and that really hurt me that she moved on past me, Shawn: Wait, so she got married to someone else, I can't believe what I'm hearing, i loved her so much, but now she loves someone else. Maya: She also told me that she was... Shawn: What did she tell you, it can't be as bad as what she's all ready said, Maya: She's... she's pre... pregnant, i was crying so hard, from telling Shawn this, Shawn: Wow, i guess she's really has moved on, I saw that Shawn was started to cry, which was weird because I have never saw him cried before

Shawn was like the toughest person I knew, he really must have loved my mom, for him to be crying like that, I just hugged him, we're get though this together I told him, Shawn: Maya how do you feel about the whole... baby...thing. I really didn't want to tell him, what I felt, because I could see how much he was upset he was about the whole thing, I... I... I am kinda of... happy about it, but... sad at the same time, I mean I have always wanted a little brother or sister since I was really young, but i never got one, but now I'm 18 years old, and I'm finally getting one, but then my mom left, and i don't think I'll ever get or see him or her

Shawn: I mean, I see the way you are to Auggie, even thought Riley's your best friend, and you spent a lot of time with her, so still try yo spent time with him, and I see how strong you guy's connection, so I would see why you would want a little sibling of your own, and I know it hurts that it got taken away from you, but I each faith that you're see he or her someday, and that he or she will love you, and I'm glad that we talked Maya, i really needed to get that pain off my chest, and told him that all the pain was bottled up inside me, and that it felt, good to talk to someone going thought the same situation as me

I hug him, and I get out my phone to call Riley, that me and Shawn have talked, after telling her that I hear footsteps coming towards the door, and I hear unlock the door, ad she comes walking into the room, I was so mad at you at first, for locking us in your room, but then me and Shawn got to let your negative feelings out, so then I forgave you, I hugged Riley, and we headed downstairs and Cory and Topanga asked if everything was all, Me and Shawn told them, everything, and how we talked about, Topanga: Maya, I'm so sorry, she hugged and that made me feel better, Topanga has always been very fond of me, because I was a tough cookie, or as she liked to call it, a brave amazon warrior

I was glad that Cory, Topanga, and Shawn the most important three adults in my life, would here to talk to, because keeping things bottled up inside just doesn't feel good, I told Riley that Lucas was probably worried sick about me, and that i should probably head back to my apartment, to see it he was ok, I gave everyone a hug, and then I left to head to my apartment, then I got there I didn't see Lucas, at first, but then I heard...
