We all know that "emo" started off as a style of music. Emos and scene kids listen to bands that are a little similar, but there are some differences. Keep in mind that, there are more bands that I do not know of, so do your own research :)

Let's start off with emo music. "Emo" means emotional, with emotional lyrics and sometimes "soft" rock backing up the lyrics. But, emotional doesn't always mean sad, so some emo songs contain things about romance, it just depends on the band. Also, most emos listen to post-hardcore bands or metalcore bands, which will be mentioned in this list as well. So, here is a list of emo bands (Not In Any Order):
-Alesana

A lot of scene kids listen to those bands, but others listen to different genres, such as "rap-metal", crunk, crunkcore, electronic, pop, and hip-hop/rap. So here are some "scene" bands (I like scene music just a little bit so I don't know many):
-Attila
-Blood On The Dance Floor
-BrokeNCYDE
-Dot Dot Curve
-Millionares
-Unicorns Killed My Girlfriend
-Jeffree Star
-Andy Black
-Hollywood Undead
-3OH!3
-Linkin Park (I guess...)
-Twenty One Pilots (this is also emo, but some scene kids still listen to them, 'cause they're awesome...)
-J. Bigga
