The dark grey clouds loomed over the sky. Heavy rain falling freely. Cold sharp wind whistled through the damp air.

Students were running into the school, covering themselves with whatever they had. Some placed their bags over there head to keep shelter, whilst some used there hands. A few actually had coats, with warm hoods, which helped protect them against the harsh wind.

One of them was a young girl called Phoebe. Her brown long hair was hidden away in her hood. Her ocean blue eyes stared hard at the ground trying to escape the piercing wind.

As she made her way through the school, Phoebe could feel a wave of nervousness.  She wasn't sure why. But she could feel butterfly's flapping around in her stomach.

Brushing it off she headed to her first lesson.

English.

The day passed with ease. Eventually it was last period. History. She pushed through the crowed hallways. She walked past several teenagers who were waiting outside a classroom. They sniggered slightly, before one of the taller boys stuck his foot out in front of Phoebe. She toppled over. The teenagers laughed at her, pointing. Phoebe huffed, dragging herself up from the floor. She glared at them. They laughed harder.   Phoebe walked past them, flipping them off.

Phoebe jogged up the stairs towards her classroom. Approaching the room she saw her classmates lines outside talking to each other.

Phoebe walked over to her friends, joining the conversation. Harper, a close friend, nudged her slightly.

"Look who's staring?" She giggled excitedly. Harper was a quite girly. Always getting excited over the little things. She had black short hair with green eyes. Her cheeks were a rosy red.

Phoebe followed her gaze to see an unfamiliar person. He was tall and slender, along with short shaggy black hair. It almost looked like his eyes were black too. He was dressed in the school uniform. The main thing that made Phoebe uneasy was his deathly pale skin. Phoebe had to take another glance to check he wasn't actually dead.

She smiled nervously. He looked away. Phoebe frowned, but quickly shrugged it off looking back towards her friends.

She stared out of the window, barely listening to the teacher. Harper tapped her shoulder catching her attention.

'Stop staring and do some work' She mouthed. Phoebe smirked, before doing some more work. After 5 minutes, Phoebe started to get bored again and resumed her position at the window.

However, now there was a figure out on the field. It was a student. They weren't dressed in a P.E kit, so they weren't meant to be in P.E. Phoebe stared hard at the figure. Her eyes widened as she realised who it was. It was the boy from earlier. The one who had been staring at her before the lesson had started.

Was he following her? She was confused. The boy was looking towards the window as if he was watching her. But he was almost 100yards away from her. How could he possibly see her through such a small window?

Frowning, Phoebe turned back to her work, slightly afraid of the strange boy. Harper noticed her friend was nervous. She gave her a questioning look, but Phoebe didn't look her in the eye.

Finally the school bell rang, signalling the end of the school day. Phoebe looked out of the window once more. But no one was there. Harper gave her a concerned glance.

"Hey, you look like you've seen a ghost. Are you okay?" She asked. Phoebe nodded still staring outside. "Let's get out of here." Harper chirped. Phoebe followed her friend. They walked in school making small talk. Phoebe was constantly looking over her shoulder to see if the boy was there.
