Origins| Their origins are widely debated, as many Western scholars believe that dwarves are nature spirits that got lost in caves, inhabited rocks, and never came out. Conversely, the Norse believe that dwarves were born out of the blood and bones of gods long dead.
These small humanoids dwell in mountains and in the earth, and are associated with greed, smithing, and mining. Dwarfs are often described as short and ugly. They typically live in mines and some scientists theorise that it's because of an innate racial photosensitivity.

Associated Characteristics|
•Physique - They grow to unintimidating heights—typically to the average man's chest—yet make up for it with an abundance of stocky muscle and a whole lot of attitude.
• Lack of unique gender features - Dwarves have a difficult time dating because any prospective partner only has a 50% chance of being the ideal gender.

Fun facts|
• Their life spans typically extend over two hundred years. However for their very early childhood to adolescence, they mature at the same rate as humans.
• They are extremely deft with their hands. Among the obvious talents (metalwork and other forms of craft) dwarves make good cooks and musicians.
• They tend to be stronger than the average human.
• Personality-wise, they tend to be quite gruff. They are also extremely stubborn by nature. The females are notorious for this trait.
• They have an affinity for natural minerals. They adore shiny things.
• For some reason, they seem to have an affinity for very large and very heavy weapons, as well as full suits of armour.
•Typically they don't have very good eyesight due to being in the dark most of the time. Their hearing is quite enhanced, however.
•They are natural sprinters and very dangerous over short distances.
•They tend to be very heavyweight drinkers.
