I have been one to walk down narrow paths 

I search for a pride

I may not behold in my shattered chest

Though my heart beats heavy

I seem to be steady,

Until they came along 

to shatter my beauty in distress.

I can't even hold a rhyme.

And finally, here is our second round of the competition! We hope that these lines stir some emotions into you so that you may be inspired! Again, there are no wrong interpretations and we can't wait to see what you come up with!
