I'm for free-verse; no feet, no stutter

And I use oleo for butter, but kidneys?

I'll take mine with no stones, please.

Give me no socks for those feet

With long toenails and fingernails, too;

They make good shredded sheets for breakfast.

Use marshmallows for my eyes,

By the way use cue balls for my nads;

I hear they're up and coming fads.

Oh, and I want a pillow made of liquorice

As it, in my sleep, become a dish.

Liquorice Wish is a surreal poem modeled on Gregory Corso poetry. It also reminds me of seasofme poetry. Corso's "bring me penguin dust, I want penguin dust." Corso is considered one of the founders of what is known as the "The Beat Generation" and it as the mother of  "Heavy Metal. " Corso reminds me of my  old friend, John E Wordslinger  (slinger of words) and father of "The Poetry Train" movement. Please check out the external link, below, for more on Corso.

Addendum: knightwriter reminded me, my memory fads after three years K., so thanks for the reminder that this poem began as a comment on her poem, https://www.wattpad.com/4521440-passages-dialogue-two-poets scroll back to the comment and you will see where this poem began in my comment on her work on Corso, what can I say, you guys inspire me to write.
