Ellie's POV

" Nothing's that bad if it feels good. So you come back like I knew you would and we're both wild and we're both young and your my drug breathe you in til my face numb.." Gabe's raps on the way to school

" you can shut up now." I say he looks at me and starts rapping louder.

" ... I got what you dream about, nails scratchin' my back tatt..."

" your an awful rapper." I laugh
" eyes close when you scream out, and you keep my in with those hips, while my teeth sink in those lips..."
" seriously you need to stick to you day job."

He smirks.
" then you said.."
He points to me.

Gabe's laughs.
" happy now?" I say jokingly
" I'm always happy when you're around sunshine."
" sun-shine?"

" yup, you don't like it?"
" it's just new."

Very new, actually, Gabe has never called me anything besides Smelly Ellie. ' Sunshine' is very new, very different. But in away i like it.

We arrive at school.

" so you going to that homecoming dance thingy?" Gabe asks
" no I don't think so."
" yeah I wasn't planning on going either." He laughs " so how are you and Ethan?"

" what do you mean?"
" you know what I mean!"
" we aren't dating. It was one 1 date, and we saw each other at the party and that was 3 weeks ago." I shrug

" but you wanna be more don't you?" He sound sad
" I'm not completely sure. I'm kinda iffy about the whole thing. Like my dads the coach and he suddenly notices me? It's to much of a coincidence."
" oh well if it helps I never liked him anyway."

" you don't like anyone I date." I laugh
" true." He laughs. " hey I was wondering.."
" Yes.."
" if this year you'd have thanksgiving with us? I usually go to your house, and I was thinking maybe we could go to mine?"

" sure is love to. But why this year?"
" no reason just-"
" Gabe I know you better than your mother. What's the catch?"
" okay fine. My grandma is starting to get really really old and will probably pass soon. So before she passes I want to spend as much time as I can with her. And Gabriella is bringing her friend over. Connie. The one who had a big crush in my even though she's like 12. And..." he pauses

Gabriella is Gabe's younger sister. She's only a 11, and she has some of the craziest friends. Shes super sweet, with her blonde hair, blue eyes.

" and." I encourage him to say more
" and.. "
" and you were wondering if I can be your fake girlfriend?" I finish for him
" yup."
" okay."

"' what just like that?"
" yeah I don't mind."
" what's the catch?"
" nothing. I'm not like you." I laugh
" okay..."

We make are way toward first period.
