He showered her in gifts and little things to show he cared.
Whether is was making sure she was well fed during their outings, letting her borrow, or secretly keep in her case, a shirt or hoodie or just told her to her face that he cared.
In the end, that's what made it harder to separate.
She still had a hoodie of his, she wondered if he ever thought about her even after all this time.
