As you already know today dating is essential. I'm not talking about marriage but simple relationships like dating someone just to date.
In a relationship there are things you do and feel. What I mean by that?
- some people kiss - have physical relationships - hug -and just do other things you do while you're in a relationship....
Now as Christians, we can't just be like everyone else out there. What I'm going to write now is how I see things and what I think about dating before marriage.
1. I personally don'tdate. Why?
because I don't need that when I already have God. All I want in my life is to focus on my relationship with the Lord because that's my mission in this world. I have to walk with the Lord and follow his commandments till my last breath.
But I'm not saying that I will or want to be single for the rest of my life. No of course not. I know that God saved someone for me and this person is the right person. I'm waiting for His timing and I know that one day I'll meet the right person who's going to love me like Christ loves the church and like Abraham loved Sarah.
2. whydating Is bad ( my POV as a Christian.)
I think that dating before marriage is bad. Why? because we all know that as Christians we have to stay pure till marriage. Some Christians say "I'm dating someone and we only kiss."
I don't know how I can explain this here but kissing is something more than just a contact of the lips or whatever. Kissing is giving a part of yourself to someone. Do you think that this is what God what's us to do? Give a part of yourself to someone who's not your husband?
No I don't think so. + Our body is not our own but God's.
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;" - corinthians 6:19
if you know that God has someone special for you just wait till the right time comes. This is what I do. I'm only 15 and I know that I have to stay that way till marriage. And from now on I'm going to start praying so that God may return the eyes that may be interested in me and help me stay the way he wants me to be.
3. How am I going to find the right person if Idon't date?
ugh this question...😁 people ask me that a lot. To be honest with you I don't know how or where I'll meet the right person but God knows. And I put all my trust in his hands.
4. am Iagaisnt Christians who date?
NO. I'm not. I love all my Christian brothers and sisters with all my heart no matter what they do. Everyone has their perspective of things and I respect that. This chapter was just what I think about dating for myself. If you're a Christian and in a GODLY relationship then that's good just know what you're doing with the body of the Lord.
YOUR BODY IS NOT YOUR OWN. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT.
