(1/17/17)
My memories are fading
With every passing day.
They fade like the sun
Into the horizon
And the summer breeze
Into snow drifts.
My smile fades
Just like the memories.
Sun kissed shoulders
And rosy cheeks,
Faded converse
And long summer boat rides
All dissolve when the first snow falls.
