Though the lands we reside in may be free of war, I recall a time when stars twinkled, rather than the military's jets.

The sky is clear, the air far too warm for January, and while the air is still, within it resides an eerie feeling. It is on this night that I decide to act- to begin my journey- for I have been dormant far too long.

This world and her society have poisoned me, and as her lies seeped into my heart like venom, I foolishly locked myself in the prison where I now lay. Pathetic, I am, for I have grown so weary that I can hardly sit up right.

Yet while I lay here, pathetic and weak, I can begin to awaken and regain my strength. For now, I believe I should think on the words which I am about to paint. I beg forgiveness, as I know I shall stumble.

Blessings.
