"Are you sure you want to do this right now?" I ask Nathan over the phone as I cuddle up with my soft blanket in my bed. It was a long day today, meetings and calls drank up all of the time so swiftly, it left me drained. When Nathan left two days ago, I was very skeptical of the fact that he's taking this wedding seriously. You cannot blame me, he's known to leave you in the middle of a situation where you've put all of your trust in him. But I think he's changed, I hope he has. He hasn't turned his back yet but the past doesn't let me sleep in peace. Its always hovering over my thoughts, somewhere I am still scared something bad is about to happen. But slowly, it seems like he's pushing all of my fears away.

"Of course! I want to make this official, I want everyone to know about how utterly hot my fiancé is." His voice cracks through the phone, grabbing my attention. I smile as I hear that.

"Nathan, I'm not sure it would have a good effect on the upcoming deals. I don't know how the companies will react. And let me talk to Dad first. He's going to die of shock if he hears you saying this on public television." I joke and Nathan smirks audibly.

"I can't wait." He says lowly. I can't wait as well!

"How was your day?" I try to shift the focus away from the wedding talk.

"Was? Its still going on, love." He chuckles and I face palm myself. I am still not used to these different timezones.

"Right." I turn around in my bed, hugging the blanket closer.

"Hey, do you know anything about Pheraya's recent meetings?" He asks, blowing my sleep away. Is something wrong?

"No. Should I know?" I frown thinking about what could've gone wrong.

"No no. Its just, I saw him around some time before and its unusual for dealers like him to be up on this street so -" I roll my eyes at that.

"So you thought, 'Oh look! I've got some new competition' and haven't been sleeping good, ain't you?" I try to mimic his American accent and kinda fail at it. Kinda.

"Ha, he wishes he could be my competition." Why is this man always so full of himself? I don't like the way he talks about Zack. I mean Zack is a good man and he doesn't deserve to be talked about like this.

"Can we please talk about something else?" I close my eyes and let out a huge breath.

"Umm, can I call you later? Got a meeting." Sounds of papers turning fills in his background and I twitch my nose. Why can't we be in the same place?

"Sure! Go ahead." Though it'd be great if you choose not to.

"I'm sorry, baby. But this is important."

"Yeah I understand. I'll talk to you later."

"I love you, Ally." He says in a deep voice, making my heart skip a beat.

"I love you too, Nathan." I say it back and I can almost see the cheeky smile on his face.

"See you soon then?" He says and my eyes fly open. How I missed this!

"I'll see you soon then." I hang up on that and go to sleep with a smile on my face.

Only hoping the 'soon' would get 'sooner'.

The next day when I wake up and look down the windows to the road, I see a lot of paparazzi with their cameras in their hands. What's wrong?

Wrinkling my forehead, I turn around to walk to my room and open my laptop to check my mails. What could go wrong? When my inbox loads, there are way too many unread mails for me to rest my eyes on just one. What happened overnight? Before I can open one of the 112 unread emails, my phone dings and I see the caller ID flashing as 'Dad'. Without another thought, I 'slide to answer'.
