The Two Of Us

chapter 14:Weakness

went to the bathroom to take a shower after that I changed into an oversized tee shirt and shorts then I dried my hair and let it fall on my shoulders before stepping out of the bathroom

I walked towards the bed and saw Dan sleeping he looked so innocent and beautiful like he had no worries in the world.
My hands were itching to run through his hair as my hands got closer they started shaking,my knees felt weak under me like it couldn't bear my weight, suddenly my knees buckled beneath me and I fell to the ground

Suddenly I saw myself in a dark room with a single light and I heard his loud laugh echoing around the room and his evil smile

Help!!help me!!I screamed

I felt a pair of hand shaking me

And I screamed louder and louder as I cried for help

"Lexi"I heard my name being called from a distance. it sounded so close yet so far

I opened my eyes and saw a pair of familiar brown eyes.
"Lexi....what's wrong?are you okay?what am I asking,of course you are not okay"I wanted to talk but I couldn't and the only thing I could do was sob harder. he carefully lifted me off the ground in bridal style and I snuggled into his chest more as I continued to sob

He laid me on the bed and attempted to move away but I didn't let go of him,I was scared I will return to that dark room if I do."please..... Please.... Don't leave me"I finally spoke out"don't worry, I'm not going anywhere"he said as he laid beside me and I snuggled into his chest as I let his scent comfort me. I know he wants to ask a lot of questions but he doesn't he just pulls me closer and kiss my forehead, he begins to run his hands slowly through my hair and I begin to drift to sleep but before sleeping completely I hear him whisper

"I'm never gonna leave you,not even if you ask me to"and i close my eyes and let the sleep take me

I open my eyes and wanted to get off the bed when I felt a hand wrapped around my waist and our legs intertwined ,I turned and met the face of a shirtless Dan sleeping

As I continued to watch him sleep,his eyes fluttered open and he smirked"like what you see?"I laughed nervously and tried to get up from the bed but that only made him tighten his grip on me and suddenly the events of last night come back to me.My eyes popped out of its socket,my hands were vibrating and I suddenly felt nausea as Dan loosened his grip on me I got up from the bed and dashed into the bathroom

I threw up until there was nothing left...Dan lifted my hair from my face as I threw up till my stomach was completely empty.its been a long time since I had saw him in my dreams or had trauma,this just reminded me why I stay away from guys,why I built up my walls in the first place. What do I do?I'm suppose to be independent and Strong, I'm not suppose to be weak. I'm not gonna let him or anyone else break down my wall that I've built

I stood up,rinse my mouth with my liquid wash and stepped out of the bathroom with Dan watching my every move "Lexi are you okay?"Dan asked as he turned me around to meet his eyes "yea,I'm fyn...why wouldn't I be"I said with my expression emotionless and we heard a door bell and I walked away from him to open the door

I open the door and see a young lady in her early twenty's"good morning, I'm Ella and I'm here to brief u about your activities for the day"Ella said with a smile which I returned...we have a schedule?"well,come in"i said as I stepped aside for her to come in and she does

"Well,first off breakfast will be here in thirty minutes, then you have a lunch date and a carnival at a park one hour away from here,then a surprise dinner date later when you return"she says with a smile which I return "thank you"I say sincerely"okay I will be leaving now and by the way the carnival starts in two hrs meaning you leave in an hour"and she excuses herself I can't believe my mum went out of the way to plan a schedule for us "well that's niiiccce"Dan comments as he stands beside me "yeah"I breath out

So we already had breakfast and I am getting dressed while Dan went for a walk when he was done dressing, I picked out my black skinny ripped jean,white crop top with a V-neck and my black leather jacket with my hair pulled back in a ponytail

I put on a light make up and Dan steps in at that moment he's coincidentally wearing a dark jeans,a white shirt that hugged his abs and his signature leather jacket with his hair looking sexy in their usual messy look.
"Ready?" Dan asked as he twirled what I assumed to be the car keys around his fingers "yeah....sure"I answer breathlessly and we walk out the door when we step out I see a dark Benz waiting for us and we get in as we are driving with one direction blasting from the player and for some reason Dan seems nervous about something
"Dan are you okay...you seem nervous"I ask looking from his white wrists that are clutching the steering to his face that's sweating even with the Ac on
"Wha-what are you saying,of course am fyn" he says and I can tell he's lying but I drop it and watch him for a few minutes till I can't take it anymore "Dan pull over"i tell him "what...why?"he asks "Dan I said pull over now" I told him again and he pulls over. I get out of the car as he does the same,I walk around to other side of the car meeting Dan "I will drive... Get into the passenger seat "i told him sternly and he sighs in relief and does as he's told while get into the drivers seat and speed off

'I wonder what happened to him'

Its been a while since I wrote sorry for that its just I've been super busy with exams

Am so so glad exams are over.....
Its been stressful but I thank God
