what is the meaning of our human existence
we are told from a young age that we have to go to school
get a job
go to college
get married
get money
and die with all that money you made
our world is focused around money if you have a lot of money people care about what you have to say a lot more
but can we really judge how valid a person's thoughts are based on the number in their bank account?
can that monthly figure define your intelligence?
does that figure define your legacy?
legacies,, your legacy is something that you don't get to see, that tree you planted before you died is your legacy but you will never get to see it grow
your descendants are your legacy and you don't get to see them grow on, maybe you get to see your children and their children, maybe if your lucky their children's children
those are the people who will be remembering you after you are gone
maybe some others
some of your friends maybe
you have to have a legacy to be remembered
because
without a legacy
even your family won't remember you
to be successful is another thing we are taught,,,, to be successful is to have money in this world,,,,, not to have experiences or to have memories,,,,, we are taught that if you don't have money you cannot be successful,,,,, if you don't have a six figure number in your account then you don't mean anything
nobody really means anything in the long run,, if you compare the average human life to the life of the earth a human life is like a five second moment

human lives are miniscule in the universe
everything is ephemeral
it only last for a little while
nothing in our lives are permanent
so why do we try so hard
why do we try to have money
why do we spend years doing things we hate for the materialistic things
we waste our short existence being miserable, for what?
a paycheck
fancy clothes
respect
why
there are so many things in this short impermanent world that we could be doing and enjoying in our even shorter even less permanent lives
yet
we still so the same thing we are taught from a young age
go to school
go to college
get a job
get married
get money
die
i guess it's because that's how the world works now,, our lives are no longer our own,, while there our slight differences in details for each person,, the out line is all the same
its all the same
