Jungkook was bouncing his head to some song and he turned to Jimin, talking slower and enunciating for him to understand better.
"I love this song".
Jimin snorted before laughing loudly.
"Yeah it's my favorite. I really like how I can't hear it".
Jungkook frowned.
Jimin, since becoming deaf, attempts to play it off as if it doesn't bother him. But Jungkook knows that Jimin can't stand it. He hasn't been able to dance in public for so long. Jungkook has walked in on Jimin dancing a couple times since it happened, but the music really didn't match with it, and that's why Jimin refuses to dance outside of his room. He doesn't want to make a fool out of himself.
Jungkook honestly sometimes forgets that his best friend can't hear, it's become so normal to him. So when he says things like that without meaning to, he feels guilty instantly.
The way Jimin was laughing wasn't normal, it was bitter and laced with envy, but he's gotten good at hiding his sadness.
But Jungkook still knows.
And he really wishes he could keep his mouth shut instead of saying something stupid.
