Episode 20: Surrender To Rage
Sammy's costume was shredded, covered in blood. Her skin had harden with red scales all along her arm. She had miniature horns via her forehead that bent back along her brown hair, as if hugging it. Sammy was no more and had become Raythe, demon spawn of the malevolent one. Brianna stepped forward, she had a black widow spider tattoo on the right cheek that was surrounded in green veins all along her face as if spider webs. Her eyes were empty, black as coil.
"AHH!" All five of them screamed, Dek ran back to the couch. Raythe saw the stones on the floor and moved around them when Angela cought that detail. Angela lifted up her right hand and made the stones come to her, levitating them. Amy jaw dropped, witnessing the stones floating in front of Angela's hand.
As she thought, Raythe stayed at bay, unable to go against them.
"What's going on?" Jason asked.
"If you guys want to live, I would suggest we go somewhere else," Angela suggested.
"This cannot be real," said Dek in disbelief.
"Do you not see me moving these things with my hand? Yes it's real, so now move!" Angela said. With the exit blocked off, the five of them ran all the way upstairs, and by the time they reached the top, they headed further into the hallway, only to stop midway when the light bulbs started shattering.
"AH!" screamed Angela, dropping the stones. Down from them was Brianna, moving or teleporting in and out, getting closer and closer. Angela took her hand and flung it back, sending Brianna flying backwards. Angela's eyes widen in disbelief when Brianna actually countered by rotating her body by ninety degrees, landing on the side of the wall like a spider while Amy bent down to quickly pick up some of the stones. On all fours, she turned around, her head lifted up only to glare at them, but specifically Angela.
"I got it, c'mon!" said Charles, getting the door to a room opened. They all ran inside, closing the door behind them.
"What the hell is going on?" panicked Jason.
"Forget that, who or what are you?" asked Dek, directly toward Angela.
"Amy, do you have the stones?" Angela asked her in which she replied with a head nod. "Start putting them around the room now for protection."
"Protection?" asked Jason.
"Okay look people, I'm a witch. An actual, real, magic casting witch," Angela confessed to them while Amy placed the stones around the room. One stone was placed on the left-far wall, right-far wall, upper & lower convers.
"...far...out!" said Jason, flopping onto a guest bed that was positioned via the center wall.
"I'm not even in college yet, I'm still in senior year of High School. I was actually sent here to capture the ancient elements of something relatively demonic and I guess those two fit the bill," Angela said to them.
"This is bullshit!" complained Dek, placing his back against a wall.
"You saw those things, you can't deny that," Amy said.
"It's all a trick. Some Halloween trick that they are all in on and are trying to scare us. Simple as that," said Dek.
"You'd be wrong then. There are...magical forces and properties at work in this world. I just so happened to be sucked into it before I was even born. The point is, there is something in this house that doesn't want us to leave. For whatever reason, it wants us...not just me," Angela told them.
"Look, either you guys are with me or the freak," spoke Dek.
"Shh!" said Amy. A rattling noise filled the room as their eyes darted from one another. Angela turned around, seeing the doorknob shaking. Then it stopped and began turning. The door pushed itself opened slowly as Brianna stood in front of it.
"Hiiiii," she said to them. Angela quickly looked back around and then to the floor when she noticed Brianna just standing in the doorway. A stone that Angela dropped had placed itself in front of the door, preventing Brianna entrance.
"Brianna?" said Jason. She tilted her head to the right before lifting it back up to say,
"She's dead. I killed her. You can call me Daaja [Dodge-ja] though; sintress to the Malevolent One."
"Tha...that would make you a demon? So you really are a witch then," said Charles, baffled.
"Oh my, a witch are you?" asked Daaja exquisitely. "No-you're not just a witch. There's something else, something very special about you."
"What did you do with Sammy?" asked Amy. Daaja smiled and said,
"The same thing that's going to happen to every single last one of you. You see, I'm stuck between your realm and mine. In order to break the veil that binds, my demon horde must have vessels and that's where you all come into play."
"Demon horde?" questioned Amy.
"You've already met Raythe. I just need five more to complete my ritual," said Daaja.
"I won't let that happen, so long as we stay in this room with the stones, you can't touch us," Angela told her.
"Hahahaa...such youth! So young, there are ways-there are always ways around the untouchables," Daaja said until Angela closed the door on her.
"Gurl bye," Angela expressed.
