  i've been released from the hospital and i didn't get anything other than an anemia medicine. as soon as i walked into the house, i made my way to the medicine box on top of the cupboard. i put the anemia medicine in there but—but i found something else.
  a small plastic bottle loaded with pills.

  will the pills stop the pain?
